DEMRUN is a program for running a series of Grinnell demo files
without manual intervention (the GRNDEM program will run one Grinnell
demo file).
To run it, say RUN DEMRUN[DEM,AAM]. Then give it the name of a file
containing a list of Grinnell demo files. This file may also have
strings in it of the form #n, which will cause DEMRUN to pause for n
seconds. For an example of a file list, see DEMO.AAM[DEM,AAM].
For documentation on creating Grinnell demo files, see
GRINEL.DOC[DOC,HE]/3P/419L -- a good example program is TEXTG.SAI[DEM,AAM].
The PIX program also has the ∞D and ∞F commands to facilitate putting
together demos. In addition, the TEXTG program mentioned above is useful
for creating comments to intersperse between pictures.
Please don't change these programs without consulting me first, because
my demos depend on them.
If you would like to see a sample demo, alias to [DEM,AAM] and say
"do aam" -- watch the color display on EJS's desk.
